How MCA Dash Monthly Cycles Work

Why real performance takes a full 30-day cycle, what you see in weeks 1-4, and what emerges after 60-90 days.

MCA Dash needs 30 days to work. Here's why.

MCA Dash shows you real monthly performance. Real monthly performance takes a full month to calculate — money flows in and out all month long, so only a complete cycle gives you the complete picture.

The workflow, month by month

September 1 — the month starts

  • You upload your starting balance: $50,000
  • Your dashboard shows: Starting balance $50,000
  • You import deals as they get funded — Sept 5: Deal A ($10K), Sept 10: Deal B ($15K), Sept 15: Deal C ($12K)
  • Deal data appears as soon as you import it

September 30 — month-end

  • You upload your ending balance: $48,500
  • Capital deployed this month: $37,000 (A + B + C)
  • Capital returned this month: $400 in collections
  • Net change: −$1,500 ($50,000 → $48,500)

October 1 — after a full month

  • Your September card is complete and locked
  • You see the full picture: deployed, returned, net growth or loss
  • October begins and the cycle repeats

The 30-day cycle breakdown

Week 1 (days 1–7)

  • Import your starting balance
  • Start importing deals as they are funded
  • Dashboard shows: starting capital and deals in progress

Weeks 2–3 (days 8–21)

  • Keep uploading deals as they fund
  • Dashboard shows: running total of deployments

Week 4 (days 22–30)

  • Final deal uploads
  • Prepare your ending balance export from your funder

Day 30 — end of month

  • Upload your ending balance
  • Upload the complete deal list
  • MCA Dash calculates the full month

Day 31+ — cycle complete

  • See the full month: starting → deployed → returned → ending
  • See growth or loss for the month
  • Compare against previous months as patterns start to emerge

Don't expect instant answers

If you import on September 2, you won't see September performance on September 3. You need to wait until September 30 at the earliest for the month to be complete.

It takes 30, 60 and 90 days to see real value

  1. Month 1: understand the interface and see one month of data
  2. Month 2: two months of data — compare and spot trends
  3. Month 3: three months of data — real patterns emerge (which deals, which periods, which decisions)
This is normal. MCA is a monthly game. Give it three months and you'll know exactly how your wallet performs.
